Such a diet ensures that all the essential vitamins and minerals are supplied to the body. An ill nutrition can lead to several neurological disorders and can lead to malnutrition diseases in the new born. Good nutrition is essential for the normal functioning of the organs.

Pregenency Diet

After many years of research, dieticians have found that an expecting woman requires a high-quality, well-nourished diet that must contain large quantities of proteins, water, and sufficient amount of salt and adequate proportions of other nutrients as well. If the government’s food pyramid is to be consulted, then this means including 6-8 classes of filtered drinking water every day, 3 servings of fruit, 2-3 servings of milk and milk products, green leafy vegetables, good intake of fish, meat and cereals and salt according to taste. This may look like a food factory, but this is all that is required per day to have a healthy baby.
